Holiday Breakfast Pleaser
Ingredients
- 3/4 pounds ground sausage brown, drain, set aside
- 1 TBS Butter
- 4 Green Onions Chopped
- 1/2 pound Fresh mushrooms Sliced
- 10 Eggs beaten
- 16 ounces cottage cheese
- 1 pound Monterey jack cheese Shredded
- 8 ounces (2 cans) diced green chile peppers drained
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup Butter melted
Instructions
- 1 Melt butter in skillet
- 2 Cook and stir green onions and mushrooms till tender
- 3 Mix eggs, cottage cheese, cheese, chiles in a HUGE bowl
- 4 Stir in sausage, green onions, and mushrooms
- 5 Cover and refrigerate overnight
- Next morning
- 1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
- 2. Grease 9 x 13 pan
- 3. In bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and salt
- 4. Blend in melted butter
- 5. Stir flour mixture INTO egg mixture
- 6. Pour into pan
- 7. Bake 40 to 50 minutes
