Cheesy Egg Breakfast Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 12 large eggs
- 1cup heavy cream or whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 cans (8 ounces) chopped green chile peppers, drained (optional)
- 12 ounces shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- In a bowl combine eggs, cream, salt, and pepper; beat until smooth and well blended. Stir in chopped chili peppers. Lightly grease a shallow 1-quart baking dish. Sprinkle cheese over bottom of prepared baking dish then pour egg mixture over cheese. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until set. If desired, broil for a minute or two.
- You can add any of the meats or vegetable that I mentioned to make it a “complete” breakfast in one.
