George’s Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Ingredients

  • 16 oz sausage cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 4 c bread day-old, cubed
  • 2 c sharp cheddar cheese shredded (10 oz)
  • 2 12-oz cn Evaporated milk
  • Evaporated milk
  • 10 lg Eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 md Onion diced
  • 1 ts Dry mustard
  • 1/4 ts Onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. DIRECTIONS:
  2. 1 Grease 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Place breadin prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Combine evaporated milk, eggs,dry mustard, onion powder, diced onion and salt/pepper in medium bowl. Pourevenly over bread and cheese. Sprinkle with sausage. Cover; refrigerateovernight.
  3. 2 Preheat oven to 325° F.
  4. 3 Bake for 55 to 60 minutes oruntil cheese is golden brown. Cover with foil if top browns too quickly.
