Woo Your Guests with This Turkish Breakfast Dish

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 3 tablespoons chopped dill
  • 1 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
  • ½ teaspoon sweet paprika
  • Coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Infuse the yogurt. Stir together Greek yogurt, dill, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl. Refrigerate while preparing the rest of the dish.
  2. Fry the eggs. You already have your favorite method for this.
  3. Spice up the butter. Heat a saucepan over medium heat. Melt the butter with crushed red pepper and paprika, stirring frequently.
  4. Assemble it. Divide the yogurt between 2 bowls. Top with a fried egg, drizzle with spiced butter and sprinkle with coarse salt, dill, and parsley.
